UPGRADE PARALLELS 17 TO 18 MAC
I've been in contact with Apple Support, but the only unsatisfactory advice they gave me was to reinstall Mac OS.Migrate from PaaS: Cloud Foundry, OpenshiftĬOVID-19 Solutions for the Healthcare Industry
UPGRADE PARALLELS 17 TO 18 MAC OS
I'm not trying to run Mac OS off it or anything - I just use it as a video/audio library. The only non-standard customization I’ve made to the Mac (only ~1 month old) is installing a Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card (Slient) with four 2GB Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 mounted - giving me an additional 8TB M2 drive (RAID0). Storage: 1TB SSD (factory installed by Apple) is my "system" drive
UPGRADE PARALLELS 17 TO 18 PRO
I’m using a new 2019 Mac Pro and running the latest available version of Mac OS Catalina10.15.6 (19G73). I have to disconnect the power cord and wait 30 secs (thereby performing an SMC reset), reconnect, and then it will turn back on, giving me the initial scary "Your Mac restarted because of a problem" screen before booting up. Open the “About This Mac” widget via the top left Apple icon,įollowing this, the Mac Pro will not turn back on if I use the power button. I'm consistently reproduce a kernel panic (followed by shutdown) every time I Kernel panic when opening About This Mac > Storage and waiting 20-30 secs (Catalina 10.15.6) Has anyone had this problem and was able to resolve it.
UPGRADE PARALLELS 17 TO 18 INSTALL
I don’t want to do a fresh install because this machine has a lot of applications as well as data. I assume this will just install the Mac OS file and overwrite any file that maybe corrupt. Another choice I have is the use the recover startup and re-load the High Sierra OS.
UPGRADE PARALLELS 17 TO 18 DRIVER
I can uninstall the Parallel desktop and window 7 and repeat the installation of both programs but if the problems is an apple file being corrupt this may not solve this issue unless the installation install this driver that is corrupt.Ģ. At this point in an effort to resolve this issue. In an effort to solve this issue, I re-install PD version 11 and still have this problem. I have tried to locate this file on the machine but the search tool does not locate it. In further reviewing this problem it would seem that somehow a MacOS IOACPIFamily driver has become corrupt. No reply from them yet, it has been a few days. I have sent a number of message to Parallels desktop using the error reporting process when the error occurs. I have contacted Apple support which tells me that it is a Parallels Desktop problem. When accessing the parallels desktop (Version 11) and turning on Windows (Version 7) I get a dialog box that tells me to re-start the Mac and after doing so still have same error.

Purchase a new iMac 27 and used the migration assistant to transfer the applications from another iMac 27 both system have the latest version of High Sierra.
